The 2008 Fast Tech 50 Awards


Applications for the 2008 FastTech 50 Awards are no longer being accepted.
The Houston Business Journal, PKF Texas, Oracle, Pierpont Communications, Rice Alliance for
Technology & Entrepreneurship, the Houston Technology Center, Capital One Bank, Phillips & Reiter,
PLLC and Fox 26 KRIV-TV/ My20 KTXH-TV will be hosting the 2008 FastTech 50 Awards Luncheon
Friday, November 7th at the InterContinental Houston Hotel where the winners will be announced.
We hope you will join us as we celebrate Houston’s high technology industry.

The FastTech 50 awards are presented to 50 local high-tech businesses that experienced the greatest percentage of revenue growth in 2007. Top executives of the FastTech 50 are honored at the official awards luncheon in November 7th, 2008. Winners are also announced in the FastTech 50 focus section of the Houston Business Journal on November 7th, 2008.

Enterprise Champion Awards

The distinguished Enterprise Champion awards recognize the top industry leaders from among the 50 winning companies. This leadership award is presented to business leaders whose exceptional companies demonstrate growth, industry leadership and above-average company culture. Submission for this award is optional.

To Qualify

  • 2006 and 2007 net revenue must exceed $200,000
  • At least 51% of the consolidated revenue must involve the original manufacture, design or development of technology products or services
  • Business must be headquartered in the Houston ten county region including: Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Waller, Austin, and San Jacinto.

All nominations are subject to review by the FastTech 50 committee.
